Pep Guardiola has left playmaker Jack Grealish out of Manchester City's squad for the Fifa Club World Cup.
The City boss has named a strong 27-man squad for the tournament, including forwards Erling Haaland and Omar Marmoush, and midfielder Rodri, who missed the majority of the season with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
It also includes four new gs - midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, forward Rayan Cherki, left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri and goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli - as well as defender John Stones, who has not played since February because of a thigh injury.
Stones will return to action despite missing international duty with England over the weekend, while James McAtee will remain at the European Under-21 Championship, where he is England captain.
Grealish was expected to miss out, with the 29-year-old's future unclear after starting just seven league games in 2024-25.
Kyle Walker and Kalvin Phillips have been out on loan this season and were never going to be included.
City's tournament gets under way against Wydad AC at 17:00 BST on 18 June.

Manchester City youngster James McAtee says the main reason for choosing the European U21 Championship with England over the Club World Cup was "game time".
McAtee, 22, itted his importance to Lee Carsley's Young Lions squad was one of the decisive factors, as well as the chance to play at an international tournament.
Asked if his club were ive of his decision, McAtee said: "Yeah, I just had a little conversation. It wasn't a long one - it was just a little one of what I wanted to do and it was easy as that.
"The main thing was obviously game time and maybe my importance to this group [England Under-21s].
"I've never had an international tournament before, so I wanted to come here."
McAtee has been named as captain by boss Lee Carsley, with England defending their title.
England U21s kick off their campaign against Czech Republic on Tuesday at 20:00 BST.

Manchester City fan and journalist Jack Gaughan spoke to BBC Radio Manchester on new attacking g Rayan Cherki.
"Really, really exciting player I think," Gaughan said.
"There's not a lot of players in Europe, nor a lot of players signed over the past few years, who have got a full fanbase going: 'I can't wait to see him play.'
"He's got a maverick ability to him. He plays off the cuff in a way that you don't see in the Premier League any more.
"That's what makes it a standout g and we seem to have got him relatively cheap as well. The rebuild is going on at a pace quicker than I thought."

Following the news of Tijjani Reijnders' arrival at Manchester City - the club's second g in under 24 hours - we asked for your views on the deal.
Here are some of your comments:
Brian: Reijnders is an exciting and creative g. A playmaker who is inspiring on the field and has a thirst for winning. He will fit nicely into a new squad who have to attack more next season and whose goal average must increase. City are clearly saying we mean business.
Kevin: This is a great g for energy, transition and threat. With Rayan Cherki as the new Marhez, this will add real creativity and style.
Steve: Excellent g at a great price in today's inflated market. He is a cultured player, capable of carrying the ball box-to-box at speed, something we sorely missed this season.
Gerard: Amazing. I can't wait to see his pace and energy in the Sky Blues jersey. I was impatiently waiting for his confirmation. Congrats to the recruiting team.
Franek: Took about a week so I got a bit worried but, eventually, we had a done deal! Reijnders will bring a very energetic aura about him and life will come with him! However, part of me just thinks Pep Guardiola is going to turn him into a winger!

Manchester City have completed the 55m euros (£46.3m) of Netherlands midfielder Tijjani Reijnders from AC Milan.
The 26-year-old has arrived on a five-year contract and is the type of balanced midfielder City lacked last season.
The Dutchman scored 15 goals in 54 matches for Milan last term. It was the best goalscoring season of Reijnders' career, with the 26-year-old hitting double figures for the first time.
But the former AZ Alkmaar man, who made his senior debut for PEC Zwolle in 2018, is far more than just goals.
Capable of playing deep or high in midfield, Reijnders' appeal to a coach like Pep Guardiola is clear.
The midfielder is capable of taking the ball in tight areas and is adept at beating the press, either through his ing or ball-carrying.
With Rodri returning from injury towards the end of last season, Reijnders could either play alongside the Spaniard or in a more advanced role.
But the main benefit he brings is giving Guardiola greater options in midfield.

The question being asked in the lead up to the Club World Cup was how seriously teams would be taking the expanded competition.
Manchester City have emphatically answered that question by bolstering a wounded squad that should now go far in the competition in the United States.
With Kevin de Bruyne departing and a hole left in attacking midfield, City were eyeing up Bayer Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz but decided not to pursue a deal owing to the excessive cost of the g.
Instead, they have boosted the side with the gs of midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, wonderkid Rayan Cherki and left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri for a total of around £108m - which is less than the reported 150m euros (£127m) asking price Liverpool are reportedly set to pay for Wirtz.
All three, plus new goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli, are available for selection for the Club World Cup with City facing Moroccan side Wydad AC in Philadelphia next Wednesday.
'I am ecstatic' - Reijnders signs for Man Citypublished at 09:07 11 June

Manchester City have confirmed the g of Tijjani Reijnders from AC Milan for an initial fee of £46.5m (55m Euros) - and we want to hear your thoughts.
The 26-year-old has signed until June 2030 and as the deal was agreed before the first transfer window closed on Tuesday, he is available to play at the Club World Cup.
Reijnders said: "I am ecstatic to be g for Manchester City. City are one of the biggest teams in the world, with the best coach, world-class players and outstanding facilities.
"Under Pep Guardiola, City have won so many titles and I want to help keep that going with a lot more success in the coming years. It is also a dream come true to play in the Premier League. This league has seen many of the best Dutch players perform through the years and it's an inspiration to follow in their footsteps.
"I am really looking forward to getting going, meeting the other players and showing the Manchester City fans what I can do."
Manchester City's Director of Football Hugo Viana added: "We are very happy that Tijjani has ed us and we're excited for him to Pep's squad. He arrives here with extensive top level experience in Europe, both at club level as well as on the international stage with the Netherlands.
"Tijjani adds extra energy, composure and creativity to our midfield and working with Pep and our coaches will only see him go from strength to strength."
'Brilliant deal' and 'the Premier league isn't ready' - fans on Cherkipublished at 08:51 11 June

Following the news that Rayan Cherki has completed his £30.5m move from Lyon to Manchester City, we asked for your views on the deal.
Here are some of your comments:
Sean: Brilliant deal, much better deal than could have been done for Florian Wirtz and a much better technician. Can't wait to see him playing.
Darren: Fingers crossed, but can he perform on a cold night in Stoke?
Lee: Are these gs the manager's choice or City's choice? With the exception of Marmoush we haven't seen anything from the winter gs. Why leave them benched if they are the future?
Shaun: What a deal! What a player! The Premier league isn't ready for this boy's class - City rebuild is on.
Oliver: I believe he is a great g and will strengthen our midfield, especially with De Bruyne leaving.
Gary: Asked for our opinion on Reijnders last week and this week it's Cherki and my answer is still the same. We have Divine Mukasa at the club and his potential is greater than both of the above. Our very own Alistair Mann called Mukasa 'The Jewel in the Crown'.
Shaun: Bargain, bring it on.
Chris: Excellent choice, ideal to play with Rodri, good age and good deal. I'm very pleased with the work done so far.
